James ClarkSIDEYJim Sidey of Cumbernauld, passed away peacefully on 5th January 2026,
at Monklands Hospital age 84.
Jim was born in Glasgow to James Sidey and Margaret Clark Sidey.
Jim enjoyed a long and varied career, which began at John Brown Shipyard in 1957.
He was a keen golfer and member of Dullatur Golf Club for over 50 years.
Jim was preceded in death by Margaret Welsh Sidey and is survived by his children
Tracey, Geraldine and Jamie, grandchildren Alistair, Cara, Callum, Euan and Cooper,
and great grandchild Eivor.
A funeral service for Jim will take place at Bishopbriggs Crematorium
on 27th January at 10am.
All family and friends are respectfully invited.
